Twenty years ago was Kupilka 21-cup, the very first Kupilka, released. K21 is a classic for it has remained as the most popular product of Kupilka-family to this day.

To celebrate this milestone we have launched the ANNIVERSARY SET that includes alongside the KUPILKA 21-cup our award-winning KUPILKA 8 firesteels. The set is packed in a birch plywood case made by Kolo Design Oy. Both Kupilka-products and the plywood case are lasermarked with special Kupilka 20-years logo.

Materials

Kareline® Natural Fibre Composite: Custom-made material for Kupilka. Carbon neutral production, manufactured in Finland. It consists of 50 % soft wood-based fibres from the certified Finnish forests and 50 % food-grade polyolefins

Jute cord and reindeer leather cord: Reindeer leather is uniquely soft, thin and durable. It is considered to be an ethical option as reindeers live most of their lives free and the leather is obtained as a by-product of food production.

Ferrocerium rod of Firesteel from EU, striker as a by-product of Finnish metal industry, coloring may vary

Packaging material: High quality, ecological and insightdul gift boxes made by local Kolo Design Oy, manufactured from Finnish plywood. Patented hinge method allows to assemple the cases without glue, screws or tools.

Testing: Kupilka® fulfills the requirements of EU No 10/2011 and 1935/2004/EC §3

Carbon neutral production: The study was performed in accordance with the main principles of ISO 14040 and ISO 14044.

All waste flows of the production phase are re-used. The wood for the material comes from the certified forests in Finland. We use EKOenergy and electricity from own solar panels. Heating of the factory is performed using waste heat flows and carbon neutral electricity.

Each item ages beautifully yet keeping its qualities. You can check how fresh the product is from its wooden scent – the stronger the scent, the newer the product!

At the end of their long-life span, the products can be recycled, incinerated for heat energy, or returned to the manufacturer for re-use.

Normal delivery time 3-5 working days, for the made-to-order laser-marked products 5-7 working days.

Delivery costs from 5,90 €. For orders over 70 € free delivery to the nearest pickup point.

The products have a 14- day return right, excluding the made-to-order laser-marked products.
