In 2023, we launched a new annual tradition called Kupilka Week. We chose to celebrate this themed week each year around the International Day for Biological Diversity, which takes place on May 22.
The goal of the Kupilka week is to encourage people to enjoy nature together in good company. During the Kupilka week we invite our partners to organize their own Kupilka Day events and celebrate the outdoor in their own way.
In this blog, we take a closer look at how the Kupilka Day was celebrated in Sweden this year:
KUPILKA DAY 2026 IN KULLABERG

Kullaberg provided a wonderful setting for the Kupilka Day in Sweden
Roswi, Kupilka's Nordic distributor, organized its own Kupilka Day event in Sweden this year. Ten lucky participants joined the day after being selected through social media competition. The event took place in the breathtaking landsaces of Kullaberg. This is a peninsula and nature reserve is located in Skåne, in southwestern Sweden.

Each participants received their own Kupilka sets, as a memory and for their future adventures.
The day began with participants receiving their own Kupilka set and learning about Kupilka's environmental background. After a short introduction, it was time to get cooking as everyone teamed up to prepare pinsa together.

Making pinsa over the fire is a great activity even for larger groups when using pre-made or ready-made bases. Everyone can then customize their own pinsa with their favorite toppings.
The meal was, naturally, served on Kupilkas. Everyone had the chance to get involved and share their own tips and tricks of campfire and outdoor cooking.

The warm pinsa in finished with fresh topping such as herbs, roe, potato chips, and seasoned oil.
After the meal, it was time to prepare the dessert. The desser - swedish apples, rhubarb and cinnamon rolls cooked together in a pot over fire - was enjoyed with coffee at a scenic viewpoint after a short walk.

Apples, rhubarb, and cinnamon buns make a delicious crumble when cooked in a pot together.

The dessert was served with Swedish strawberries and vanilla cream, all enjoyed with a amazing view.
The conversation flowed naturally, covering topics from favorite ways of enjoying nature in a simple way, smart gear, to great locations around Sweden.

Peninsula of Kullaberg offers many walking trails.
As only one of the participants had visited Kullaberg before, exploring the peninsula and discovering the unique area together was a first-time experience for most of the group.

The landscapes and terrain of Kullaberg are both beautiful and diverse.

Even a four-legged participant enjoyed Kupilka Day and the beautiful landscapes of Kullaberg.
After the hike and admiring the views, the group headed back to camp and challenged each other in a classic Swedish yard game called Kubb. The winner received a Kupilka gift card to expand their Kupilka setting.

Kubb is a traditional outdoor game where the goal is to knock down wooden blocks in the correct order.
Kupilka Day 2026 was a wonderful and memorable experience!
